Is Dubai a preferred study destination?

International higher education institutions in Dubai reported an 8% annual growth in the number of students enrolled, according to new data revealed by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

The number of programmes offered by international universities increased by 21% in the last three academic years, with degrees in business, engineering and information technology proving the most popular among international students and Emiratis.

Business, media studies and information technology featured in the top three programmes among students of determination. 

Data from the current academic year also showed that 60% of students are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree, with 30% studying for a Master’s, and 2% for a doctorate.
